Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI)

Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) is a device intended to mitigate high current arcing faults in the complete circuit. High current arcing faults occur from line-to-neutral or line-to-ground. These arcing faults are in parallel with the load.

Enlarge Key Features and Benefits Detects arcing faults that standard circuit breakers are unable to detect. Intended to mitigate the effects of parallel arcs (line-to-ground or line-to-neutral) by de-energizing the circuit when an arc-fault is detected. Industry exclusive LED light to indicate type of trip.

Key Features and Benefits of AFCI 2nd Generation New and improved electronics 1/4” more wiring bend space than our previous design Both lugs at the same angle - for easier wiring Available with interrupting rating of 65kA
